HOW TO BOOK A FLAT WITH GOTOO LILLE?
We are focused on international students and expat people, so we not only help you to find the perfect place to stay, but we also provide support and online assistance during your stay in France (with the CAF application, opening a bank account, opening an electricity account when it is the case, etc. or questions you might have and advices you might want.
1. SEND A BOOKIND DEMAND
Send a booking demand through our website or an email to: email@example.com (even if you are interest in many apartments, just make a booking demand for one, then you will be able to choose)
2. A HOUSING MANAGER WILL CONTACT YOU
A housing manager will contact you in order to help you through the booking process. You will receive an email with all the information regarding the booking and the conditions.
3. ANSWER BACK
If you agree with our terms (paying AGENCY FEES*), answer to the email or contact your housing manager to the whatsapp number you received in the email.

4. SEND YOUR DOCUMENTS
Once you have chosen the apartment you want and confirmed it is available, you need to send the following documents (click to download) to your housing manager who will send them to the owner and see if he/she accepts.
⚠️ If the housing manager send your documents, it means that you commit to take/book it if the answer is positive.
5. SIGN AND MAKE THE PAYMENT
When the owner accepts, the housing manager will send you the contract + information for the payment and you have maximum 2 days to pay.
There are 3 different payments:
- 1st month of rent
- Deposit (it can be equal to 1 or 2 months of rent and you get it back at the end of your stay if the apartment is as good as you found it)
- Agency fees
⚠️ Besides this, there is the housing insurance you also need to buy, it doesn’t have to do anything with the agency but we can help you with this procedure. It goes from 64€ to 199€/year according to the type of apartment)
6. SEND CONTRACT SIGNED + RECEIPTS
Send the contract signed (with the initials of everyone appearing in the contract at the bottom of each page and your signature and “lu et approuvé” written by hand under your signature) + the proof of payment so that the owner can sign the contract.
7. BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Finally you will receive the booking confirmation email with the contract signed by the owner + préavis letter (the one you need to send to the owner when you want to leave) + 2 other files with advices and recommendations.

8. ORGANIZE THE CHECK-IN MEETING
Just tell us when you will arrive to Lille in order to organize the check-in (from Monday to Friday, 10:00 am-12:00 am and 14:00-19:00 pm. It is impossible to check-in during the weekend and late in the evening.)
